The Maidan Way

Gully instinct.
First-class habits.

Mumbai cricket was built on maidans — Shivaji Park, Azad, Cross. We took that culture, gave it floodlights, a bowling machine and a camera on every net, and parked it two minutes from the BKC connector.

01

Assess

Every player starts with a filmed 45-minute assessment — stance, swing path, release, ground coverage.

02

Batch right

Age and level decide your batch, not your enrolment date. Maximum 12 players per coach, always.

03

Train on camera

Weekly video review with annotation pins — see the exact frame where the front elbow drops.

04

Play real matches

Monthly intra-academy fixtures and MCA-affiliated tournament entries for competitive batches.

Signature System 01

Find your batch in ten seconds

Pick an age group, a level and the days that suit you — we'll show only the batches that fit, with the coach, timing, monthly fee and live seats left. Then book a free trial straight to WhatsApp.

Signature System 02

Every player gets a dashboard

Parents don't get vague "improving nicely" updates at MAIDAN. They get a skill radar, a form line across the last six innings, dated coach notes and pinned video frames. Tap a player below to explore the live demo.

Word on the Ground

Parents, players, office captains

"The video review changed everything. My son saw his own bat coming down crooked — one month later he's opening for his school. No coach ever showed us the problem before, they just talked about it."

RS
Rashmi SawantParent, U-12 batch · Khar West

"I rejoined cricket at 31 after a decade. The senior club batch never made me feel like the old guy — and Imran sir rebuilt my run-up from scratch. Took 3 wickets in my first corporate league game."

"We run our quarterly offsite league here. Umpires, scoreboard, highlights clips for the office group — zero organising headache for me. The Friday 8 PM slot is now sacred in our team calendar."

Before You Ask

Straight answers

My child has never held a bat. Which batch fits?

Start with the Beginner batch for their age group — use the batch finder above and pick "Beginner". The first session is a free filmed trial, and the coach will confirm the right level on the spot. Kit is provided for the first month, so don't buy anything yet.

What exactly happens in video analysis?

Every Academy Pro and Elite net is filmed at 120 fps. Once a week the coach sits with the player, pins the exact frames where technique breaks — head falling over, elbow dropping, release angle — and the clip lands in the parent's WhatsApp with notes. The Skill Tracker section above is a live demo of what you'd see.

How does turf booking and cancellation work?

Pick your hours in the grid above and confirm on WhatsApp — we hold the slot for 30 minutes while you pay via UPI or at the venue. Cancel free up to 6 hours before; inside that window we offer a one-time reschedule. Rain on a booked slot means an automatic credit, no arguments.

Do you run girls-only sessions?

Yes — Coach Priya runs a girls-only net every Sunday 8–10 AM, open to ages 9 and up at any level. Girls are also welcome in every mixed batch; three of our current school-team players are girls.

Can we pause the academy fee during exams?

Yes. One pause of up to 6 weeks per academic year, no questions asked — just message us a week before. The seat in the batch stays reserved. Board-exam students (10th/12th) get an extended 10-week pause.

What should we bring for the free trial?

Sports shoes, water bottle, and 45 minutes. We provide bats, pads, helmets and balls. Come 10 minutes early for the warm-up — the trial is filmed so the coach can walk you through the assessment right after.
